Snowdonia Equestrian Training is an approved B.H.S. Stage IV Training Centre, based at the Snowdonia Riding Stables. The Centre is run by Sian Thomas, BHSI (Regd).

The Instruction

Top class friendly instruction is offered at all levels from beginners to BHS Stage IV for:

• Lessons on your own horse at your own premises.
• Group or private lessons.
• Career students.
• Competition riders.
• Leisure riders.
• Horse owners.
• Pony and riding club members.
• Children from the age 5 upwards.
• Riding clubs and pony clubs.

Your Instructor

Sian is one of the few fully qualified registered British Horse Society Instructors in Wales. She competes regularly in affiliated Dressage, Showjumping, Eventing and has produced her own and clients' horses at National Championship Level.
Co-author of "Fundamentals of Riding" with the well-known writer, Elwyn Hartley Edwards, Sian has wide experience of teaching at all levels.

Career Training

We take working pupils for examination training (in association with Yale College Equine Department, Wrexham) and have an exceptionally high pass rate.

• BHS Stages 1 to 4.
• NVQ Levels 1 to 3.
• Long or short courses, day or evening.

The Horses

You may have lessons on you own horse to improve his way of going or on our school-masters, some of which compete successfully at affiliated level and are classically trained.

We have a wide range of horses and ponies to suit all levels and abilities so that you can build up to riding our highly trained dressage horses. They can give you the incomparable experience and correct feeling of riding horses in self carriage - moving with ease and elegance. Our horses and ponies are part of your family - some are home bred and many stay with us until they retire.
